Thinking, Dreaming, & Designing better worlds.
about
dbq studio
dbq studio is a Lagos-based architecture and design practice exploring what the contemporary African built environment can become.
We believe Africa doesn't need to choose between imported modernism and nostalgia for tradition. There is another possibility: a modern architecture rooted in our climate, culture, materials, behaviours, and ways of living.
Through architecture, interiors and product design, we translate these conditions into contemporary spaces—developing a distinctly African design language for the present and the future.
